| Outpost 168 Staff Larry A. Norris Jr - Sr. Commander
Expedition/Adventure / Discovery Commander FCF Name- "TwoBears" Divisional Staff - Northwest
Larry Norris grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon attending Hillsboro First Assembly of God and later Valley Full Gospel Church. He was an active member of his local Royal Ranger outpost. Having gone through the old Royal Ranger program up through as a Trailblazer Ranger. During his time as a Royal Ranger, he participated in many Ranger activities and outings. His most memorable was building a backwards car parade project for their outpost. The vehicle was constructed with the help of many of the Commanders and fathers of the boys in the outpost. It depicted a simple message: Heaven or Hell, Which Way Are You Going? The vehicle chosen was an Oldsmobile Toronado for both the front ends that would joined together. When the build was completed, each end of the car had a scene and theme applied to accompany the audio on each end. The outpost members joined in during the parade passing out informational cards, invitations & candy treats to the onlookers in the parade. Larry started helping out on special events with Rangers and was asked by past Sr. Commander Mark Winterhaulter to become a Commander. He now leads our Royal Rangers Outpost as our Sr. Commander. Larry also recent completed his Frontier Adventure for FCF and is now a new Frontiersman. He was sponsored and named by Commander Barry. Larry supports the Church Computer Network and Computers, supports our Church Website and works with our Church Media Ministries and an active member of the Warm Beach Community Church Men's Ministries group. He's active in his children's education and activities while they attend Highland Christian Schools in Arlington, WA.
Rod Moore has been an outstanding member of the Northwest District or Northwest Ministry Network, Royal Rangers program for many years! His input, guidance and direction is greatly appreciated at our Outpost! You'll often find him driving his 18 wheeler, supporting his family and grandchildren's various activities. He came to Warm Beach Community Church when the Ranger Outpost from the old Stanwood A/G joined us in 2006. Among his favorite things, Hunter Safety Training, Black Powder Range Master or just sharing a cup of coffee with his many aquaintances and friends!
